Official rules
San Francisco 49ers Opportunity Drawing — DEF Gala 2026
Read the full rules
- The San Francisco 49ers Opportunity Drawing (the "Drawing") for the chance to win six 49ers home game tickets and a $2,000 gift card (the "Prize") is being conducted by Davis Education Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization ("Charity") under the laws of the State of Utah, with the drawing for the Prize to be held at the Charity's "Lights, Camera, Take Action!" 2026 Spring Gala event (the "Event") on June 10, 2026.
- Contestants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
- There is no limit to the number of tickets one person may purchase up to 200 tickets (the total number of purchased tickets available in the Drawing).
- Employees of the Charity and their spouses are not eligible to participate in the Drawing.
- Odds of winning depend on the number of entrants, with each ticket having the same chance to win.
- Entries may be obtained for a $100 suggested donation. Donations may be made online through the Charity's secure donation page. No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win; free entry of equal odds is available in person as described below.
- Entries may be obtained by the following methods:
- Online at the Charity's secure donation page
- Free entry, no donation required, in person at the Davis Education Foundation office, 130 North Main Street, Farmington UT 84025, during regular business hours through June 10, 2026
- By IRS declaration, ticket purchases for valuable prizes are not eligible for charitable tax deductions.
- All ticket orders must be received with full payment no later than 7:30 PM on June 10, 2026 (the date of the Drawing), or before a total of 200 tickets have been sold, whichever comes first, to be entered into the Drawing.
- The Charity may decline to award the Prize if less than $5,000 is raised through the sale of tickets for the Drawing.
- The Charity may, at its election, delay the Drawing and extend ticket sales for a period of up to thirty (30) days beyond the date of the Drawing indicated above.
- If the minimum funding referenced above is not received by the time of the Drawing (as it may be extended), then all funds will be returned to those purchasing tickets.
- The Prize has a market value of $5,000.
- The winner of the Drawing (the "Winner") will be determined by random drawing. The Winner need not be present to win. The Winner must claim the Prize within thirty (30) days following the date of the Drawing.
- The Winner is solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance, and all expenses incurred in claiming the Prize. The Internal Revenue Service requires that any prizes valued at $600 or more be issued a Form W-2G, and requires that the Winner pay 25% of the fair market value of the Prize, minus the amount of the wager, to the Charity, to remit to the IRS on the Winner's behalf. The Winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the Charity is not responsible for the quality and performance of the Prize and must release and discharge the Charity and any sponsors, as well as their employees, agents, officers, directors, and legal representatives and assigns, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or caused by the award of the Prize, including but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.
- The Charity, its Board of Directors, and its agents assume no liability for lost or illegible tickets or entries, which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.
- The decisions and rules of the Charity are final on all matters concerning the Drawing.
